Permit Sharing

McMaster University’s Permit Sharing program lets multiple vehicles use a single parking permit under a Primary Account Holder (PAH), enabling permit holders to share the cost.

Information Box Group

How it Works

  • Primary Account Holder: Adds up to five vehicles to one permit, but only one vehicle can park on campus at a time.
  • Vehicle Addition: PAH purchases additional transponders for alternate drivers.
  • Self-Service Model: PAH manages the logistics, schedules, and payment arrangements.
  • Responsibility: PAH is responsible for all citations and ensuring compliance with permit rules.
