Main Campus Shuttle Bus Frequency and Hours of Operation
Shuttles run every 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the bus stop, time of day, passenger demand, and overall campus activity.
FROM MAY 4, 2026 TO AUGUST 24, 2026, THERE WILL BE ONE SHUTTLE RUNNING FROM 06:30 TO 23:00. THERE WILL BE NO SERVICE FROM 10:00-10:30 AND 15:30-16:00 TO ACCOUNT FOR DRIVER BREAKS.
Regular schedule (September – April)
- From 06:30 to 08:00 there are 2 Buses
- From 08:00 to 18:30 there are 3 Buses
- From 18:30 to 23:00 there is 1 Bus
The small shuttle bus on the main campus is equipped with ramps to provide accessible entry for all passengers.
Ron Joyce Centre
A free shuttle bus is available to transport passengers from McMaster’s campus to the Ron Joyce Centre (RJC). For details on the RJC shuttle, visit the RJC Shuttle Bus Page.
10 Bay Street South Residence
A free shuttle bus is available to transport passengers between 10 Bay Residence in downtown Hamilton to McMaster main campus.
Effective May 4, 2026, the following schedule will be in effect:
Morning Service
- 7:00 am depart 10 bay
- 7:30 am depart main campus
- 8:00 am depart 10 bay
- 8:30 am depart main campus
- 9:00 am depart 10 bay
- 9:30 am depart main campus
- 10:00 am depart 10 Bay
Afternoon Service
- 4:30 pm depart main campus
- 5:00 pm depart 10 bay
- 5:30 pm depart main campus
- 6:00 pm depart 10 bay
- 6:30 pm depart main campus
- 7:00 pm depart 10 bay
- 7:30 pm depart main campus
- 8:00 pm depart 10 bay
