This month, we would like to share our appreciation for our sustainability student Kiara, who has done wonders at the Parking Services office to action a healthier and greener campus. Kiara first came to parking through a Sustainability course at McMaster, where she developed a website wireframe redesign for Parking Services with a team of talented students. It was through this course that we saw her potential and hired her as our own sustainability student. For the past year, Kiara has been at the head of many projects actioning change throughout McMaster. From pedestrian only areas, to our upcoming partnership with Bird E-Scooters, Kiara has been very busy making sure the student body’s voice is heard.

While Kiara is moving on to complete her Master’s in Environment and Sustainability at the University of Toronto, we wanted to showcase her dedication and talent one last time. We know Kiara will go on to create positive and lasting impacts in her new community, and wish her the very best of luck in the future. Thank you for all your hard work Kiara!
