Preventing Theft Report Suspicious Activity

As with all public areas, there is a potential risk of theft. To help mitigate this risk, consider the following strategies:

  • Record your serial number
  • Save your receipt
  • Engrave your driver’s license number on your bike frame.
  • Lock bike to bike racks only
  • Use two bike locks
  • Watch for suspicious activity around bike racks
  • Report suspicious activity immediately to Security Services

Student Discount Hamilton Bike Share

Starting September 2024, McMaster Students will receive an annual SoBi membership for $24.50, as a part of their student fees (Students are able to opt-out of this membership on Mosaic).

Before then, students can take advantage of the existing student discount. More information can be found on the Hamilton Bike Share website.
