CycleSafe Bike Lockers

McMaster Parking Services maintains 32 CycleSafe Bike lockers in 6 different locations on campus:

  1. John Hodgins Engineering Building (6 lockers)
  2. Togo Salmon Hall (6 lockers)
  3. E.T. Clarke Centre (6 lockers)
  4. Burke Science Building (8 lockers)
  5. Life Science Building (2 lockers)
  6. McMaster University Student Centre (4 Lockers)

How to Rent a CycleSafe Bike Locker

1. View this map to determine which location best suits your biking needs.
2. Fill out this form and email it parking@mcmaster.ca. They will ensure a CycleSafe Locker is available at your desired location.
3. Upon completion of the form and an available CycleSafe Locker, visit Parking Services in building T32 to pay fees and collect your keys.

NOTE: Renters are required to provide a $120 key deposit, in addition to their rental fees, before they obtain their locker key.

The McMaster University CycleSafe Bicycle Locker Rental Application allows for the rental of bicycle lockers located around campus.

1. Use your keys to unlock your assigned locker (the lock will “pop out” indicating it has been unlocked).

2. Open the door and safely place your bike inside.

3. Ensure your keys are with you and not inside the CycleSafe Bike Locker (you are able to lock the CycleSafe Bike Locker without the keys).
4. Close the door and ensure you lock the door by pushing the lock back into place (the lock will sit flat to the door indicating it has been locked).
